Engineering software written by people who sign drawings.
Hummer Systems was founded in Israel to make structural design start from the architect's drawing and end in a result an engineer approves. One structural practice, one software team, five markets.
A result is only useful if a reviewer can check it faster than it would take to design it. That is the bar for everything Engenie produces.
Five locations, one engine
Projects run from the Petah Tikva head office. In each market a local structural practice reviews and signs off under the national annex.

The team
Two disciplines in one room: structural engineering practice and large-scale software engineering.
Roy Ackerman
Leads the product and the engine. Technology background from companies including Intel and NetApp, where he built and ran large engineering systems before turning to construction.
Refael Naaman
Leads a structural engineering practice ranked among Israel's top engineering and design firms by Dun's 100, delivering more than 1,000 projects a year. Sets the engineering rules Engenie enforces and signs off its results.
Standards we design to, formats we deliver
One engine, a national annex per market. Everything leaves as files the project team already uses.
Engineering partners
Engenie runs with structural practices that review and sign off the results in each market.
How we work
Three commitments that shape everything Engenie produces.
| Commitment | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
Geometry is read, never guessed | Walls, columns and dimensions come from the drawing's own lines and hatches. The engine reports what it could not settle instead of assuming. |
Every rule is enforced in code | National clauses and office preferences are deterministic checks that must pass. A rule without a check is treated as a defect. |
The engineer owns the decision | Engenie proposes and explains; the engineer approves on the drawing. The decision log stays with the project. |
